How well do you really know me???

Check out my quiz here!!!
Whoever scores the most points wins a prize!
Good Luck!
Julie

UPDATE:  Looks like there will have to be two winners because I forgot Ms Nancy was going to read my blog and I lived next to her for 3 years.  She got them all right!!!

UPDATE #2:  Well, well, my dad beat my mom on my quiz.  Can you believe that??  And joining Nancy with a 100% score is my friend Sandy and my dad.  Way to go guys.

And ignore my misspelling of "meet" in my quiz.  It was late and I can’t figure out how to change it!

Okay, I’ll play.  I got tagged by HOME FOR HIM and here goes……
SIX Unimportant things about me:

1.  I’m a texture person.  If it’s squishy or squirmy I ain’t eating it!!!

2.  I’d rather go barerfoot than wear shoes.

3.  My nieces keep me in a "semi-fashionable" state.  Without them who knows what I’d wear.  (Thanks Korey!  Thanks Kensley!)

4.  My husband and I sleep in a king size bed.

5.  I want one of those huge new wide screen monitors but don’t want to pay for one!  Anybody have one they are giving away??

6.  In my next life (ha, ha) I’m coming back as one of those Dancing with the Stars star!

How about you???

Pesky little guy!

This pesky little guy and his wife live in the trees next to our house.  He sits on my deck and flies into my bedroom door several times each day.  I’ve blogged about his redneck cousin who did this but then went "bye-bye" when my neighbor reduced him to nothing but feathers.  True to the family tradition this guy has taken his place.  I’ll post another strange photo of him on my Freaky Friday Foto tomorrow.

What my name means…

What Julie Means

You are fair, honest, and logical. You are a natural leader, and people respect you.
You never give up, and you will succeed… even if it takes you a hundred tries.
You are rational enough to see every part of a problem. You are great at giving other people advice.

You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.
And because you’re so lucky, you don’t really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life.
You’re sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don’t get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It’s easy to get you excited… which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don’t stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

That’s pretty much me except for the fact I don’t mind rocking the boat!  Check out your name’s meaning here:

And Happy Birthday to my friend Sandy!  Have a great day!!!

Just a hello

Well, I’m 4 day post-op now and doing well.  I had to go to the dermatologist this morning and I’m pooped now.  Baby girl and I are sacked up in the bedroom watching Wonder Pets.  And a nap is imminent.   My knee is healing nicely with more mobility each day.  I’m just amazed at how much anesthesia takes out of you.  I’m hoping to make it to the Sauna another day this week to help my body get rid of the anesthesia.

Oh, for you photography buffs Snapfish has some great things on sale right now.  Their New Year’s Clearance of 40% off has been extended through January 19th.  (www.snapfish.com)

Any of you guys want to run for president so I’ll have someone to vote for?

Off to snooze….
Have a good day.
Julie

Just in time!!!

LOOK!
Snapfish just lowered their prepaid prints from 10 cents to 8!
Wow.

Just prepay for 250 prints and they are 19.99!  I love snapfish and highly recommend them.

Good intentions….

I had very good intentions of spending another beautiful 70 degree day outside but am just pooped today.  We hung around the house and did very little.  The boys had their first guitar lessons today and did very well.
I took this picture of our daughter today and had to post it.  I just love it and had a fun time playing around in photoshop with it.  Hope you had a good day too.
IN HIM,
julie

Quick Facts About Aye-Aye:

The Aye-aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis) is a strepsirrhine native to Madagascar that combines rodent-like teeth with a long, thin middle finger to fill the same ecological niche as a woodpecker. It is the world’s largest nocturnal primate, and is characterized by its unique method of finding food; it taps on trees to find grubs, then gnaws holes in the wood and inserts its elongated middle finger to pull the grubs out.

Dfaubentonia is the only genus in the family Daubentoniidae and infraorder Chiromyiformes. The Aye-aye is the only extant member of the genus (although it is currently an endangered species); a second species (Daubentonia robusta) was exterminated over the last few centuries.Source:Wikipedia

I have a confession…

I’m a Dancing with the Stars junkie.
I was so sad with the winner last night.  I like the guy who won but really wanted Mel and Max to win.  And now what am I going to watch on Monday and Tuesday nights?  There are very few shows I am willing to watch and Dancing with the Stars is one of them.
*Big Sigh*
(I’m really sad!)
