My poor blog

Yep, my poor blog is all but ignored with the busy schedule of homeschooling (have I mentioned the dreaded lesson plans?), football, Spanish and guitar.  In fact, we leave for guitar in about 10 minutes.

But I wanted to stop in and say hello.  I keep thinking I’m going to take photos of our school room, of the neat things we are using, and the kids just learning away but alas, the thought comes and goes…..and goes….and goes.

I’ve also allowed myself to become quite overwhelmed with the entire post processing part of photography.  I need to get back to just taking photos and not worrying about the other part.

Football season is just about over.  We’re cranking out our 40th day of homeschooling tomorrow and my father-in-law is coming for a visit tonight.  We’re all excited to see him.  I think the kids enjoy having company as much as their parents.

Any who…..
We’re here, just busy!
IN HIM,

Our family is busy too! I think October is the BUSIEST month of the year–really? Does anyone else think that? I'm actually looking forward to winding down in December a bit:)

p.s. I love your blog–it is so so cute!!

    Hey Julie!

Great to see a post from you! I know, we've been so incredibly busy since school started back up too!

I can't remember… do you use Photoshop? I love Photoshop because of the actions you can use. Makes pp'ing a snap. I probably don't spend more than a couple of minutes on my pictures. (unless I'm doing a B&W or some weird processing… but I don't usually play like that unless I have time on my hands… LOL!)

    Love, Alyssa

thanks for your comments – I understand the business – that's what we're doing too 🙂 just school and so on and so on right now – same type of stuff…

good times though and memories and these days when the kiddos are young – won't last forever.

    blessings!

Hi–I still peek in at your blog periodically. I think you're doing great to post at ALL with 4 kids, hs, sports, music….I really don't understand how anyone can blog daily and also accomplish schooling, house stuff, and maybe getting OUT of the house for a couple of hours! Thanks for sharing a few photos. I'll actually be in your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks, visiting the inlaws in "Sparkle City" !

    ashley –who doesn't have a blog 🙂

I totally understand how real life can slow the ol' blog down. Between internet troubles, homeschooling, work, and just plain ol' life, things have been pretty slow on my blog too.

We're still here though. Enjoying this great fall weather and watching the animals shuffle through the leaves. I absolutely love it!
