We had a wonderful trip to Stone Mountain, GA. The weather was perfect and the hotel and two pools! My kids thought they were in heaven. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were heated. We went on a nature walk Sunday morning and played at the playground before leaving that afternoon. When we arrived on Saturday we rode the tram to the top of the mountain. Stone Mountain is the largest outcrop of granite in the (I can’t remember where). And it continues 10 miles underground. Pretty cool huh??

This was my favorite part of the trip. Sunday morning I awoke to find this outside my bedroom window. It was so spectacular. I just wanted to stop and freeze time for hours.
Yep, we were blessed and my son is OFFICIALLY 6!!

This looks like a fun place. We have talked about going there since we moved out here. It's been an ongoing discussion for the past 10 years! I will have to make sure it gets on the list of places to visit soon!!!!
