Adventure of the day….The Ripley's Aquarium

Today we visited the famous Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach.  Homeschoolers get quite the discount (over 1/2) if you ever get to go.  It's a great place.  My children love it so this year's trip was the second time we'd been there.

Here are some pics from the day….

Trying to decide if they are brave enough to pick up horeshoe crabs

As ABSOLUTE beauty in the aquarium…..

Oldest son as an astrauant going to Mars in their Mars exibition

Middle son always takes time to pose for a photo.  Complete with blue gatorade stains to march his jacket.  What a star!!!  But here is the star of the aquarium…..get prepared!!!  and sweet dreams!!!

Hey we were there about a year ago. I LOVED the walkway tunnel where you have sharks and tropical fish swimming over and around you. I could have just stayed there all day. There is a cartoon artist that does sketches (near the rows of shops) that did my dc pictures, it was so cute and he didn’t charge that much.

  2. I would have so loved to have been there!

I want to take our kiddos this summer to the aquarium we have here.

The pictures are beautiful! That shark is freaky looking but really cool!

Thank you for sharing your fun.

That is so cool about your boys asking Jesus into their lives… Yes! I will be praying for you, thank you for praying for me. :O)

Great pics of the Aquarium. Don’t you just love field trips? I do! I think the Sir Cumference books would be great for your boys. Even if they don’t understand all the Math at 1st the stories are fun. They will want to read them for years! Our library carries them all, you might try that 1st.
