Please pray

Many of you know I have John Piper's website listed on my sidebar.  It's SO wonderful.  I just read this today:

I saw that you had left a comment on my blog, so I came over here to check out yours. This first entry about John Piper had the wheels turning in my head. “I know that name,” I thought. But nah, it’s just a coincidence. It couldn’t be the same guy. Well, to make a long story short, my friend and neighbor here in St. Andrews is one of John Piper’s four sons. To be safe, I won’t disclose his or his family’s names here on your blog, but you’re welcome to e-mail me anytime if you’re interested to know more. Funny…. when I first met the St. Andrew’s Pipers, they told me that his dad was well-known in the Christian world and had written a few books. At the time I didn’t think much about it. Honestly, to me, the strangest part is finding someone completely unrelated to all of this, halfway around the world, who happens to know and admire my friend’s daddy. Yep, what a small world indeed.
