The Spout

Okay, so I'm the typical mommy of one little girl after having three rambunctious boys.  I admit to it.
I love to dress her in pink and today was the first day I got to do “the spout” and amazingly she kept it in all day!!

It was great.  My first pony tail, so to speak.  At Bible
Study today someone said she looked like Cindy Lou Who from The Grinch
Stole Christmas.  Yep!  That's my girl….little Cindy Lou
Who!  I've still got to get some pony tail holders for little
girls (the small ones) and some cute little doodads to add to the
spout.  I just can't wait…..OOHH…it's going to be so much fun!

So far I think I really like this girl thing!!
Have a Jesus filled day!

I also had 3 boys before having my first girl (I now have 2 girls!) so I know what you mean. When I was pregnant with the first girl, everyone would always say to me either, “She’s going to be so spoiled!” OR “She’s going to be such a tomboy!” And I thought, “Maybe a *little* spoiled … I mean, come on, my FIRST girl after 3 boys!!! But a tomboy … NO WAY!!!!” It’s ALL pink and ruffles and sparkly stuff for girls in this house! LOL And I was way proud of the spout too, and all those pretty little hair accessories … now I can hardly wait till my 2nd girl has ENOUGH hair to do something to!

  2. She’s adorable! I have four boys and one girl. I’d suggest taking advantage of the frilly stuff while you can. While my daughter does like feminine things, she’s definitely more of a “sporty” girl. Ruffles and lace are a no-go. Fortunately, I got my fix in while she was little. Hehe.
