This weekend was extraordinary. Friday and Saturday were beautiful. As a cold front moved in on Saturday evening the wind picked up a bit. It was wonderful seeing the leaves pour down from the trees like rain. So I took a few pictures on Saturday to show you the amount of leaves in our yard. Our youngest son was outside hard at work cleaning up his dump truck while dad and his brothers watched college football by our campfire site.
Yes, underneath all those leaves is a yard that actually has grass growing on it.

We have alot in our backyard as well and they are presently quite soggy! It looks like you have a bit of bush behind your house. There’s bush and a creek behind our house and it’s a great place for the kids to explore.

We have lots and lots of leaves. We’ve taken 13 bags to the curb so far. The neighbor’s oak tree has finally finished shedding its leaves (we have NO trees in our backyard). So when we have another dry day, we’ll finish up the back yard. Our trees in the front have just turned colors. Hopefully they fall soon so we won’t be raking in the snow!
