It's one of those mornings when, although we've gotten no school work done yet, my two that never get along have been playing wonderfully. I don't dare disturb the delicate balance they've struck this morning.
I've gotten 4 loads of clothes washed, almost all dry, folded AND put up in drawers/closets (small wonders!!) My almost two year old daughter followed me around carrying towels and washcloths and put them under the sink for me where we keep them. Then would say her version of “more?”
Who says you can't teach a 2 year old to do laundry? I cleaned carpets last night so even the den and my office even look relatively clean. (thanks to a pepsi at 9pm)
Oh, I feel like I must be living someone else's life this morning. Where am I?
Now, if they'll just do their school work by themselves…….
I'll know I've died and gone to heaven.

OOps….I hear screaming. I must be back home!!!
Aren’t those days great. The ones where you look in the mirror and say, “Who are you and what have you done with the real me?” LOL I have two extra kids today-I’m not exactly having one of those days. But it’s not too bad, just LOUD.haha Bless your day!

LOL… another 3B1G. It must be a bug going around.
I hope the screaming wasn’t serious. Mine scream for every reason– or no reason.
I’ve decided to let you keep “the girls” and see if I can talk nrsemom into sharing her plethora of girls. I think hers are older, but I’m a tad older than my husband, so maybe that’s a good thing.
Regarding the Mt Dew, it was for my asthma. I’ve never had to use my inhaler because 8 oz of caffeine will do the same thing, so… 😀
Here’s hoping you get another “day away from home” soon. 😉

I agree with the ‘not disturbing the delicate balance’. I’ve been that way many times. Harmony is so wonderful, yet between SOME unnamed children in my home….it’s a fleeting thing. Like butterfly wings between two of ’em. LOL.
I liked the image of your little girl wanting ‘more’ laundry. She’ll learn….Don’t worry about her. 🙂
Wow, you are the laundry Queen. Even if just for a day. Laundry is my nemesis. I don’t dare interrupt children playing nicely together either. It is too rare an occurance. Carrie
These are the days that are so very encouraging. God allows us a glimpse into that which He desires and even already sees within us. What a wonderful gift of rest and harmony from Him to you.
Father in heaven, i give You praise and thanksgiving, You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift coming down from above, and thank You that You desire to give them to us. For this little family i pray Father that these days may come more and more often, the fullness of Your Spirit to fill up the home and bring joy and peace like a continuous flow of fresh spring water. I know it sound impossible but as i lift it up to You, i do so by faith, realizing that You are able and even willing to do abundantly more than we could ever think or ask. So in my greatest imagination, or Julies’ surpass it with the stamp of Your glory as in Christ Jesus through whom we approach Your throne of grace and mercy by Your invitation. and amen.
