I need help with a couple of things that need prayer:
- Whether to homeschool my oldest next year or send him back to Montessori School
- An affordable wheat grinder. I want to make my own bread.
- The strength to eat just fruits and veggies for the next 6 weeks in order to feel better and loose weight. Wisdom in my vitamin regimen.
Thanks so much for those prayer warriors out there. I'll keep you informed. If you haven't read the Butterfly Resurrection Story I posted a day or two ago. Keep scrolling down. It's worth the read.

Wheat Grinders — if you have a Kitchen Aid Mixer, they make an attachment to grind grain (my mixer doesn’ have enough amps, though). I wonder if a food processor will work in the meantime.
Diet. Praying for willpower for you. I was really good for 4 weeks before we left on our trip. Then I took a “vacation” on our vacation and it’s hard to get back into the swing of thing. (Early Easter candy we got at a party keeps calling my name and I keep answering!)
Hi Julie, I will be praying for you as you choose to eat fruit and veggies for a while – I know first hand what a blessing this is, but it is not always easy to keep our focus…God bless you in this venture. In Him, Colleen
Julie, I am praying for you. Please let me know how God is worknig these things out.
You’re in my prayers, Julie (God’s working on getting me more faithful about prayer through HSB, oddly enough). Extra hugs for the dilemma with your oldest; although mine hasn’t’ been to school yet, there are times when I wonder if I’m following God’s will by HSing him. God always gives a clear answer if we listen, though. *hugs*

You should check out SuzyQ’s blog. She just completed a 30 day (I believe) fast of only vegetables. It was a very good thing for her and she’d have a wealth of info! If you can’t find her…check my friends list. 🙂
awh….
thanks for the prayers and the encouragement. i was just telling another blogger (actually asking another blogger) about the whole “i’m leaving hsb thing” and i just love you guys. my experience here has been nothing short of God breathed. i think hsb is great and so are you guys. thanks hsb for allowing me a place to love and be loved by like minded homeschoolers, unschoolers, moms and sheep of the Shepard.

I’ll be praying for you. That was an incredible story…thank you for sharing it. I often need to remind myself to “have faith like a child” so this was a great reminder!

I will be praying for your three prayer requests.
