I guess I should make that a little hurray! I took middle son back to the doctor today. They tested for the flu and thought maybe pneumonia but alas, it's strep. I don't think I've ever been so happy to have a kid with strep.
Two things:
1. It's completely curable with a round of mild antibiotics. (I'll pump him up with probiotics when I return.)
2. AND…….Since it's not the flu or some unknown virus I get to go to CA to see my hubbie!
Can you say “HAPPY DANCE!!!'
Now, may I ask for prayer for a safe flight and a delicious time with my hubbie. Thank you to all of you who prayed for us. Your prayers worked.
More from sunny Palm Springs……..
IN HIM and EXCITED.

Yay!! I’m with you. After a child being really sick over a period of time, I’m thrilled when I find out it is something that can be cured with antibiotics. I greatly dislike antibiotics, but I like them better than watching my child waste away. We just found out last week, after 10 days of my daughter being pretty ill and lethargic with a cough, that she had pneumonia. I was so relieved.
So…now get everyone well, and get to your husband!
Oh… have a wonderful time! How great for you! “See” ya when you get back!
Blessings,
Amy
Oh, Julie- YAY!!! I’m SO glad you’re able to go. I’m sure you’ll have lotsa fun in Palm Springs!! Praying for safe flights and all that. : ) I’m also glad to hear ya got meds for your son’s strep throat….. ; )
I’ve been wanting to post a comment on your blog a few times but for some reason, it wasn’t easy for me to find the “post comment” section…. ??
Glad you get to go see your hubby! Hope your son heals quickly and his illness doesn’t spread!
YeeHaw!!!! Have a great trip!
When my little people get strep, I pump them full of garlic and Emergen-C.
Yea!! Well, not “yea” to the strep, but “Yea!” you get to go to Palm Springs. OHhhh, have an awesomely fantastic (and romantic!) time!!
